NOWlab cofounder appointed Chief Innovation Officer of 3D Printer manufacturer BIGREP

Daniel Büning, co-founder of NOWLAB, has recently been named Chief Innovation Officer of BigRep GmbH. The 3D design, technology and innovation specialist will complete BigRep executive management team.

NOWlab is an innovation lab that joined BigRep two years ago. This department has already raised attention with various innovations including a small 3D printed wall or the motorbike NERA that was featured at Formnext. As his role implies, Daniel Büning will handle technological innovations. He must have a new vision regarding the way the company implements its AM solutions.

Furthermore, according to the company, the development of sustainability as well as the integration of digital technologies in 3D printing such as machine learning and AI.

It seems that Bigrep is not the only company to see Daniel Büning’s potential, since he will handle other responsibilities as an expert in digitalization and Industry 4.0 issues in proceedings at the German federal parliament.
