Roboze to introduce the UAE its 3D Printing solutions

Alessio Lorusso, CEO and Founder of Roboze is currently taking advantage of the 3D printing market forecasts regarding the UAE. Indeed, if now the technology is still proving itself in the luxurious region, market researchers estimate that it will reach $300 billion by 2025.

The Dubai 3D Printing Strategy

Dubai’s first initiative aims to use the 3D printing technology for the service of humanity.

To this extent, the Dubai Health Authority has committed to regulating and setting the standards to the use of 3D printing technology in the health sector and will explore the use of 3D printed prosthetic limbs, 3D printed teeth, and 3D printed hearing aids in public clinics and hospitals.

Furthermore, given the interest of the country for fancy things, every new building in Dubai would be 25% 3D printed by 2025. According to Dubai municipality’s regulations, this project is expected to be launched in 2019, starting at 2% with a gradual increase toward its strategic goal.

Consumer products will be another covered area. Authorities expect to reach €6 billion market for the production of household items, optics, fashion jewellery, children’s games and fast food products by 2025.

As for Roboze…

For now, Roboze aims at complying with the final goal by bringing its support to the aerospace, defense, space and manufacturing sectors.

More specifically, Roboze’s patented Beltless System, does away with the traditional rubber straps, which are subject to distortion, wear and repeatability and maintenance problems, by inserting a new unique movement of the X and Y axes with directly connected helical rack and pinion.

This innovation gives a strong position to Roboze FFF 3D printers since they are able to reach mechanical tolerances of 25 microns, while taking into account that a human hair is only 70 microns on the one hand; on the other hand, to guarantee high repeatability and accuracy which allow for the realization of serial part production while ensuring smooth and silent movement.
