3D Systems’ FabPro Flexible BLK material is now available

Designed to be used on the company’s FabPro® 1000 3D printer, the FabPro Flexible BLK is now available worldwide. 3D Systems’ material is known for its durability and flexibility.

It produces 3D printed parts with the look and feel of molded polypropylene. Its properties – such as elongation at break (93%) and impact strength – make it ideal for a wide variety of prototyping, functional testing and low volume production applications. In fact, in unnotched Izod impact strength testing to ASTM D4812 standards, the FabPro Flexible BLK material did not break.

Intended for prototyping & production, but also jewelry and dental sectors, the entry-level industrial printer includes the company’s 3D Sprint software. It delivers improved accuracy (Six Sigma Repeatability), speed (45% faster average print speed), and cost-efficiency (22% lower average part cost) compared to other systems in its class.
