Airtech Advanced Materials Group has a new exclusive partner in the maritime space. The Tennessee and Luxembourg-based materials manufacturer is no stranger to these pages. Acknowledged through its large-format AM materials work and last year’s acquisition of Kimya’s assets, it has entered into a supply agreement with Evergreen Additive.
Founded in 2025 and based in Brunswick, Maine, Evergreen Additive specializes in large-format additive manufacturing for maritime applications, serving commercial marine tooling and defense unmanned systems markets. Its approach relies on robotic advanced manufacturing systems to produce components and vessels with shorter lead times and reduced dependence on traditional skilled labor. The company’s proposition is increasingly relevant as the U.S. maritime industrial base looks to modernize.
Under the agreement, Airtech will provide technical and business support across Evergreen’s LFAM projects, while Evergreen commits to using Airtech materials exclusively. Materials development for emerging marine and defense applications is expected to be a central focus of the collaboration.
Dr. Kyle Warren, CEO of Evergreen Additive, noted that the partnership formalizes a relationship already built over years of working together, and pointed to supply chain reliability as a key driver behind the decision.
For Airtech’s part, Gregory Haye, Director of Additive Manufacturing, framed the agreement as an opportunity to support Evergreen’s transition from lab-scale work to full commercial production; spanning parts, tooling, and direct-use structures.
The partnership is timely. Marine was one of the sectors that stood out at JEC World 2026, where LFAM applications, from hull molds to structural components, reinforced the segment’s growing appetite for the technology.
