Dubai-based fabrication and fit-out company Mint Group, officially Mint Creative Production has announced the acquisition of Generation 3D, a 3D printing service bureau operating in Dubai. The news was shared on LinkedIn by founder and board member Wassim Chaya, signaling a deliberate step in the company’s strategy to consolidate production capabilities under one roof.

Mint Group has built its reputation on large-scale, high-stakes projects across the entertainment, cultural, and retail sectors in the Middle East. Its portfolio includes Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi and Expo 2020 Dubai. The company specializes in architectural theming, 3D fabrication, and large-format additive manufacturing, operating at the intersection of creative production and industrial precision.

The acquisition of Generation 3D

This is not just about 3D printing. It’s about how we rethink production,” said Amin Rashmani, CEO of Mint Group, in comments shared with Blooloop. “Historically, fabrication, fit-out, and advanced production have operated in parallel. What we are building now is a model where these components are fully integrated, from design intent through to final delivery.

The move reflects a broader change in what clients now expect from production partners operating across the region particularly as project pipelines in Saudi Arabia continue to expand in both scale and complexity.

The expectation today is not just quality. It is consistency, speed, and control at scale,” Rashmani noted. “By integrating Generation 3D into Mint’s ecosystem, alongside scenic production and fit-out through Code A, we are moving toward a more structured, coordinated, and predictable delivery model. The shift is clear: from fragmented execution to a unified platform. That is where the real value lies.”

For the additive manufacturing industry, the acquisition is a reminder that 3D printing’s value in project-based sectors is increasingly being evaluated as part of an end-to-end production logic. As timelines compress and clients demand greater accountability across the supply chain, service bureaus that can plug into or become part of integrated delivery ecosystems are better positioned to scale.
