North America’s largest additive manufacturing event is heading to a new city. RAPID + TCT 2026 will take place April 13–16 at the Thomas M. Menino Convention & Exhibition Center in Boston. We have already covered what makes this edition significant, from the conference program to the city’s industrial strengths.
Here is a selection of companies worth watching on the floor.
From Germany: Solukon (Booth 1435) will present a special configuration of its SFM-AT350-E depowdering system, now compatible with the newly launched EOS M4 ONYX printer for compact metal parts.
The team will also demonstrate ultrasonic depowdering for medical applications, including titanium spinal cages, a technology designed to clean complex geometries without affecting surface quality or structural integrity.
From the USA: PanOptimization (Booth 2142) will showcase PanX, its simulation and optimization platform for metal AM. The platform targets large, geometrically complex components in LPBF and DED, parts where conventional simulation tools reach their limits. Attendees can bring their most challenging build problems and schedule a free trial on-site.

MIT Professional Education is running a five-day Enterprise Additive Manufacturing program (April 13–17) that integrates two half-days at RAPID + TCT with classroom instruction on MIT’s campus. The course is designed for engineers, operations, and business professionals looking to move from concept to implementation.
From Australia: Additive Assurance (Booth 2636) will demonstrate its AMiRIS® in-process quality assurance system for L-PBF. The focus: moving beyond monitoring to generate actionable, traceable evidence that quality, operations, and certification teams can act on, without disrupting existing production workflows.
This is just a glimpse of a few companies that will attend the show. With more than 450 exhibitors, 170 conference sessions, and 200 expert speakers, a lot more is coming.
Worth keeping in mind
RAPID + TCT 2026 arrives at a moment when the conversation in additive manufacturing has decisively shifted from capability to production. The themes running through this year’s exhibitor announcements (process reliability, simulation at scale, in-process quality assurance, and workforce readiness) reflect an industry focused less on what AM can do and more on making it work, consistently and at cost.
If you are attending, come find the 3D ADEPT team on-site and pick up the latest issue of 3D ADEPT Mag, available at the show.
