    Equispheres’ team of researchers, metallurgists, engineers, and manufacturing professionals lead the world in metal powder expertise for additive manufacturing, allowing us to offer products and related applications expertise required to meet the demanding needs of our aerospace, automotive, industrial and defense customers.

    The Role
    Equispheres is currently seeking an experienced  VP of Sales – North America  to lead growth activities within North America. We are a fast-paced and demanding scale-up environment, engaged in the continued development and commercialization of metal powders optimized for additive manufacturing processes.

    This individual will take the responsibility for the development and execution of the business development strategy to drive our product into the North American market and obtain market share leadership. This will involve the development of deep relationships with the customer base to build an understanding of the issues and challenges of metal additive manufacturing and to identify and promote the value of Equispheres products and services.
    The ideal applicant will be a demonstrated self-starter with a broad range of sales and communication skills, and deep knowledge of the fast-changing North American additive manufacturing industrial landscape.

    This position will work closely with all members of the Equispheres customer-facing teams and reports to the COO.

    Qualifications & Skills:
    Minimum Requirements:

    • Background in metal additive manufacturing
    • Recognised Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or a similar technical specialty).
    • 5+ years of applicable experience and a proven track record in sales and customer relationship management
    • Experience in business development in Commercial Aerospace/Space and/or Defence sectors

    Desirable Requirements:

    • Background in Application Consulting or Development for Additive Manufacturing
    • Background in Metallurgy
