AMEXCI plans to expand its Additive Manufacturing capabilities beyond the Nordic region

With the Nordic region a partner country of Formnext 2023, we are eager to discover more about the companies that are shaping the market in this area. AMEXCI is definitely one of them. Defined as an accelerator and a company that develops new products using AM, the company with offices in Sweden and Finland has received a significant investment from Ericsson, FAM, Saab and Scania.

The investment of an undisclosed amount, has led a large-scale strategic initiative to significantly enhance its manufacturing capabilities. The company will invest in a facility, tailor made for AM and the latest industrial 3D-printing technologies available in the market. This will streamline AMEXCI’s operations for high volume serial production, create space for future growth and position the company as one of the leading Additive Manufacturing entities in Europe.

We feel that the time is right to expand”, says Edvin Resebo, CEO of AMEXCI. “Having built AMEXCI from the ground up over the past plus five years together with our partners and customers, we have tuned our processes to fit a variety of different industries and specialized towards serial production. Our greatest asset is the talented team we have formed, with deep knowledge across various AM verticals. It is key for our expansion to continuously invest in the latest technology, enabling us to offer unique industrial 3D-printing capabilities in Europe and the Nordic region.

This brand-new factory is being built in the industrious region of Örebro, Sweden. This significant investment underscores Örebro Region´s standing as a premier industrial hub in Sweden, particularly in advanced manufacturing. The new factory will boost AMEXCI’s operational capabilities and enable deepened research collaboration opening for further engagement with the local Örebro University.
