At Booth #1801 at RAPID+TCT 2026, 3D Systems is introducing the SLA 825 Dual to the U.S. market alongside AddiTrak™, a new on-premises factory floor software platform.
The SLA 825 Dual is not a new name. 3D ADEPT Media covered its debut at Formnext 2025, but its U.S. introduction at RAPID marks a step in commercial rollout. The specs speak to a production-first logic: a 22% larger build volume, up to 25% faster build speeds, and a design oriented toward high-utilization environments. Motorsports, investment casting, full-scale precision prototyping: these are sectors where yield and repeatability aren’t negotiable.
What’s arguably more significant is AddiTrak. As we asked in our January 2026 analysis, what do 3D Systems’ 2025 developments actually tell us about 2026? Part of the answer, it turns out, is software but on the company’s own terms. After divesting Oqton and 3DXpert in October 2025 to sharpen focus on proprietary solutions, 3D Systems is now bringing fleet management capabilities back in-house with a platform built natively for its own ecosystem.

AddiTrak offers centralized monitoring, Industry 4.0-compatible connectivity (MTConnect, OPC UA), and full on-premises control, a deliberate answer to the data security concerns that production environments can’t afford to overlook.
The Eureka Pumps use case, highlighted alongside these announcements, grounds the narrative in a real-world supply chain argument: DMP-based on-demand spare parts production to counter obsolescence and long lead times. This is the kind of application underscores the company’s ability to address energy-sector manufacturing challenges.
3D Systems continues to demonstrate, announcement by announcement, that it has chosen to build depth rather than breadth — hardware, software, materials, and application expertise, tightly integrated. Whether that focus translates into market traction will be the real story to watch through 2026.
