Remember when I said there is a need for more parameter marketplaces in the AM industry? Well, qualloy officially joins the non-exhaustive list of companies working in this area with the launch of a marketplace for metal powders.
The company was founded in 2022 by Yannik Wilkens, Tobias Brune and Daniel Hariri with the goal of comparing prices and different specifications from audited powder manufacturers. If you’re a regular reader of 3D ADEPT Media, you may have heard about the company’s collaboration with AddiMap last year –  a process parameter Marketplace developed by engineering company Rosswag.
qualloy aims to make purchasing metal powders cheaper and more transparent, by providing a user-friendly platform that connects buyers with certified suppliers from around the globe.

The qualloy marketplace offers a range of features designed to enhance the sourcing experience for users, including advanced search algorithms, transparent pricing, and detailed product specifications. Additionally, qualloy’s expert team is on hand to provide guidance and support throughout the procurement process, a press release reads.
