Establishing Ventura as the new hub for industry 4.0, XponentialWorks doubles size of innovation labs and creates new industry 4.0 jobs. A milestone for the 4-year-old tech hub, a true reason to celebrate.

XponentialWorks is a lot of things: venture investment, corporate advisory and product development company, specializing in artificial intelligence, digital manufacturing, 3D printing, robotics, and the digital transformation of traditional businesses. This description might seem a lot at first glance but whoever knows Avi Reichental, founder, chairman and CEO will say that it is simply obvious.

Back to the expansion

As XponentialWorks portfolio companies commercialize their products, the new high-tech hub seemed the logical step to enable all companies to generate and ensure new activities with local and regional hardware and software suppliers as well as services and support functions.

Furthermore, an expansion without any economical impact is not a true expansion. Avi R.’s company would create dozens of jobs in the manufacturing 4.0. The portfolio companies, including NXT Factory, Nexa3D and Apollo Robotics, will certainly better develop their commercial and manufacturing activities.

Ventura, an alternative to Silicon Beach

When asked why Ventura, Reichental states:

Ventura is quickly becoming the heart of our portfolio companies’ efforts to digitize the future of manufacturing. We built our entire ecosystem in Ventura seeking to differentiate from the overcrowded Silicon Beach and Silicon Valley economies and forgo the fierce talent market competition. The announcement of our third expansion in just 24 months underscores the fact that in selecting Ventura, we have selected a region that offers an attractive and qualified talent pool in a highly desirable community. This provides our portfolio companies with significant competitive and economic advantages and the community with coveted high-tech jobs and supply chain opportunities.”

So far, Reichental through XponentialWorks has shown the world he is one of the faces of the additive manufacturing industry. For the portfolio companies, it is a great challenge because now, they do not have no other alternative but to grow.

Reichental has facilitated their seat at the international stage, by providing resources to develop, manufacture and scale their commercialization efforts. Moreover, he has provided something more important: opportunity, the one to “collide with other startups and mature companies [in order to develop] game-changing solutions to some of society’s biggest challenges”.
