A few months ago, we announced the latest update of Windows 10. This one should integrate Paint 3D and Print 3D instead of the 3D builder application. As part of the IFA 2017, Berlin’s high-tech fair, Microsoft announces that Windows 10 Fall Creators Update will be available for download as of October 17 worldwide.
A wide range of features are expected
With the Fall Creators Update, Windows offers some fun and new ways to get creative.
Windows Inking: will let users ink directly onto PDF’s; thus facilitate the possibility to comment and share with others.
Photos and videos: Windows Photos app has been reimagined and can now be used on photos, videos, and 3D effects.
Windows 10 improves “accessibility” for those who suffer from Lou Gehrig’s disease, a progressive neurodegenerative disease that impacts the brain’s ability to control your muscles. Since the disease does not affect the eyes, the company incorporates a “new feature Eye Control which implements incredible eye tracking technology that lets the user type, and operate a mouse just using his/her eyes.
As for Windows Mixed Reality, by combining physical and digital worlds, this feature enables the user to immerse himself/herself in a new reality.
Other enhancements can be seen in gaming as well as in security.
Terry Myerson, Executive Vice President, Windows and Devices Group, precises that “all of this innovation will be brought to life by a range of beautifully designed, and feature rich modern devices available from [their] hardware partners.”
