Stratasys revealed a new 3D printer for the fashion industry: The TechStyleFabric Alignment Station. This solution extends the capabilities of the Stratasys’ J850 TechStyle technology

In that regard, the station addresses the increasing demand for customization and personalization with a workflow enabling embroidery, embossing, laser cutting, 2D silk printing, and so on. The TechStyle Fabric aligns 2D printed patterns with intricate 3D designs on clothes.

This advanced manufacturing fashion solution reduces the extent of ‘Trial & Error‘ in the conventional practice of saving production, material, and time. It enables designers to create accurate & customized garments.

By automating the alignment model, the solution reduces manual adjustment changes to save time & reduce development costs. It also reduces material wastage, assisting eco-friendly creation.

According to Zehavit Reisin, Senior Vice President at Stratasys, “Today’s fashion consumers value personalization, driving demand for customizable and bespoke products by empowering them to achieve a new level of design. This solution is transforming the creative process and production efficiency.”

The TechStyle Fabric Alignment Station sets up a new standard in 3D printing for the fashion industry by highlighting precision besides reducing cost benefits combined with sustainable production methods.
