Steinbach AG, a prototyping services company, has completed its production portfolio with the CeraFab System S65, an industrial 3D printer for high-performance ceramics.
Designed by Austria-based manufacturer Lithoz, the CeraFab System S65 can be expanded to up to four production units to support Steinbach’s manufacturing requirements. In a press communication, Lithoz explains that an objective lens developed for the process ensures reproducible results in the micrometer range.
Throughout the year, Lithoz has improved its ceramic 3D printing technology with new tools capable of tracking and monitoring the manufacturing process. With the Ceravision tool and other features, operators are no longer constrained to stay near the printer to monitor the printing process.
“We continue to trust in the cooperation with Lithoz and their CeraFab 3D printers because we are convinced of the outstanding quality and also find competent and fast support in our daily work,” says Volker Sämann, Business Unit Manager of Steinbach AG.
Ceramic AM will help the company achieve high-temperature applications, especially finest components in the electrical, automotive and the aerospace industries. On the other hand, this will also give Lithoz another possibility to demonstrate its technology’s capabilities in industries other than medical and space.
