Sinterit has recently released a Powder Handling Station (PHS) that can achieve post-processing and powder recovery tasks as clean as possible.
Designed to keep all processes in one place, the new Powder Handling Station aims to make it easy to achieve the whole SLS 3D printing process, from print preparation, post-processing to powder refresh and recovery.
The manufacturer explains in a press communication that the worktop with a suction hole speeds up depowdering, and a detachable 2m long suction hose connected to the ATEX vacuum cleaner makes cleaning the workspace faster as well.
The unsintered powder is transported automatically into the sieving module located under the worktop. The sieving process took place during the post-processing, so the unsintered powder is ready for the further process which is mixing with the fresh one.
“Over the past years, we have been developing products by listening to our customers. Today we want to meet their needs again and improve the SLS experience. Now, we are the first to offer a complete solution that meets all your needs and covers the entire process of making printouts”, says Michał Grzymala-Moszczynski, Sinterit’s co-founder and the head of the R&D Department.
This announcement follows the launch of the PA11 ESD, the manufacturer’s 7th material for SLS 3D printer Lisa PRO. The new material follows the path of the flagship PA12 Smooth used for standard prototyping and supplemented by PA11 Onyx.
It delivers heat resistance and ESD functionality. It is a good candidate for electronics applications which include casing or test fixtures for electronics and fixtures for electrostatic dissipation, to name a few of them.
“The new PA11 ESD, bio-sourced from castor oil, is our new proposition dedicated to the electronics and automotive industry. ESD safe material with better thermal properties and dimension stability was something our clients asked for, and now we are glad to deliver it”, explains Konrad Głowacki, co-founder & chief business development officer.
With these launches, the manufacturer of LISA PRO closes a year filled with several product launches and announcements; the main ones being the 3 devices designed to make SLS 3D printing cleaner, the compliance with industry 4.0 requirements, and other dedicated powder tools.
We don’t know what the future holds, but it’s been six years that Sinterit is committed to delivering SLS 3D Printing technologies and devices that matter and it looks like they are not going to stop now.
