A new collaboration with Taiyo Nippon Sanso Corporation (TNSC) will enable Phase3D to expand into the Japanese market. Taiyo Nippon Sanso Corporation, a group that specializes in the production of gas called specialty gases, will provide Japanese industrials with Phase3D’s complete line of inspection products, including Fringe Inspection and the newly launched Fringe Qualification software.

With TNSC’s established expertise and commitment to technical excellence, Phase3D’s measurement-based solutions will now have a robust distribution and support network throughout Japan.

This partnership with TNSC represents a significant milestone in our mission to empower the additive manufacturing industry with trusted quality assurance technology,” says Niall O’Dowd, Founder and CEO of Phase3D. “TNSC’s in-depth understanding of advanced manufacturing and commitment to technical excellence make them the perfect partner for bringing our inspection solutions to the Japanese market.

Key benefits of the partnership include:

  • Local sales and technical support throughout Japan
  • Rapid response times for service and maintenance
  • Hands-on training at demonstration facilities
  • Expanding AM opportunities for existing TNSC customers

This partnership is particularly beneficial for industries with stringent quality requirements, such as aerospace, medical devices, and defense, where Phase3D’s measurement-based approach offers the documented certainty needed for critical applications. Using structured light fringe projection technology, Phase3D’s Fringe Inspection products generate precise heightmaps with micron-level accuracy, ensuring trusted and repeatable quality control across production.

Phase3D’s innovative approach to AM inspection aligns perfectly with our commitment to advanced manufacturing solutions,” says Hirotaka Mangyo, Innovation Division Director of TNSC. “Their metrology-based technology fills a critical need in Japanese market for objective, measurement-based quality assurance in Additive Manufacturing.”

This expansion with TNSC is a key milestone in Phase3D’s global growth strategy, with additional partnerships planned in Asia to extend the company’s presence further.
