Megnajet, a developer of fluid management systems, expands its portfolio with the launch of RackFit SP. As a reminder, the company debuted in the AM market in 2023, bringing expertise it built in other industries.

The new pressure-fed fluid management system aims to address the needs of OEMs and integrators working within tight spaces.

The system features a slimline ‘blade’ configuration that allows multiple units to be stacked side-by-side. This enables high quality fluid management without increasing the overall system footprint.

Engineered to maximise usable space in production environments, RackFit SP expands Megnajet’s RackFit family – which already includes RackFit LFR and RackFit Gravity – and is perfectly suited for compact industrial printers and additive manufacturing machines where enclosure space is at a premium.

It fits easily into substrate environments without compromising functionality, enabling more efficient machine layouts, simplified system upgrades, and scalable fluid delivery across modular print platforms and multi-station production lines – including retrofitting into existing setups.

Capable of handling high viscosity fluids within high temperature applications, RackFit SP utilises and includes an integrated heater, supporting fluid temperatures of up to 85°C. This ensures stable, pressure-fed delivery and reliable handling of challenging inkjet fluids, which can be found in 3D and additive manufacturing environments. Thanks to its thermal regulation, it maintains a consistent flow, making it compatible with a wider range of jettable chemistries and unlocking diverse new materials and applications for customers.

Mike Seal, General Manager at Megnajet, said: “We developed RackFit SP to meet our customers’ need for high functionality in a small space. Its compact, light-weight construction means it can be easily integrated into OEM machinery builds, maximising flexibility while minimising cost. We are looking forward to showing how RackFit SP can integrate into our customers’ applications and help them achieve even greater efficiency and performance, particularly in areas such as additive manufacturing and 3D printing.”
