As you may guess, the healthcare industry is one of the top vertical industries that propel the most Additive Manufacturing (AM) technologies. Given the uniqueness of this sector, it perfectly makes sense to see dedicated events for professionals in this sector. One that 3D ADEPT Media has been supporting from day one is AM Medical Days, previously organized by IPM AG – the same organizer that is behind AM Forum Berlin.
With the goal of bringing even more healthcare professionals around this topic, AM Medical Days’ founding partner – MGA, has taken over the organization of the event. For those who do not know, MGA Medical goes Additive is an international network part of MGA Mobility Goes Additive. With a key focus on medical and healthcare 3D printing, the division helps to enhance the technological awareness for Additive Manufacturing in MedTech.
Together with a strong team of healthcare professionals in Basel, Switzerland, MGA Medical goes Additive will hold the Symposium on 3D Printing for Life Sciences (3DP Basel) and the European Healthcare Forum for Additive Manufacturing (EHFAM) on September 6-7, 2024, in Basel, Switzerland.
Split into two days, the first day will shed light on key research and new developments in AM for healthcare whereas the second day will address policy and regulatory topics, discuss implementation strategies and show practical applications, needed to bring AM solutions closer to users, healthcare professionals, policymakers, and health systems across Europe.
“This conference represents a pivotal moment for additive manufacturing in European healthcare, by bringing together diverse stakeholders, we aim to shape the future of AM integration in healthcare systems across the continent and globally,” Prof. Dr Florian Thieringer, University Hospital Basel comments.
Some of the key speakers you may expect to meet during this event include: Florian Thieringer (University Hospital Basel), Mark Tan (Singapore General Hospital), Martin Schulze (University Hospital Munster, Germany), Carmine Gentile (University of Sydney), Oezlem Weiss (Expertants GmbH), Erik Boelen (QasE3d), Bernhard Pultar (POCAPP), Alberto Bardají de Quixano (Tüv Süd), Beatriz Dominguez Gonzalez (Materialise) and many more.
While we look forward to sharing more details about what will happen during these two days, we already invite you to save your spot here.
