As far as the view function is concerned, the specialist of CAD/CAM solutions integrates in the 3D viewer, the possibility to exploit a range of 3D and 2D formats. Light-weight 3D data might be shared both internally and externally and 3D models can be viewed without launching the 3D software. According to ZWSOFT, users directly benefit from safety and speed while handling 3D data via the browser.

Other improvements include the possibility to import latest 3D formats such as SolidWorks 2018, Catia V4/V5/V6, NX 11, SolidEdge ST10 and Inventor 2018. The possibility to import 2D formats like Catia & SolidWorks 2D drawing or DWG/DXF 2018. And an output HTML and PDF files with PMI (product manufacturing information).

With regards to the annotation feature, clients can now easily explore 3D models, and add useful suggestions or comments for departmental communication. The main advantage here is the possibility to reduce rework and improve decision-making process.

In the analysis, the company laid emphasis on mass properties such as volume, area and mass; draft angle, wall thickness and dynamic section as well as assembly animation and interference check.

This capability of the software to open files without a lot of complexity certainly facilitates the work across multiple file types and/or CAD systems.
