alphacam has signed an agreement to become the exclusive distributor of Tritone® Technologies in the Dach region.
For those who are not familiar with the technology, Tritone® Technologies develops a “powder-free” metal additive manufacturing (AM) system named Tritone® Dominant. The system is based on the company’s patented and patents pending MoldJet® technology, built for producing large quantities of high-density parts with complex geometries.
Since its debuts at Formnext 2019, the metal 3D printer manufacturer has raised the attention of some Germany-based companies like the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Technology, the Advanced Materials IFAM in Dresden and Runout.
With alphacam by its side, it will accelerate its business activities to new territories – in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Lichtenstein.
As a reminder, alphacam brings 25 years of expertise in 3D printing and additive manufacturing. Its range of services covers the complete process from the generation of 3D data using CAD systems, to consulting, sales and customer service for industrial polymer 3D printers and additive manufacturing systems from Stratasys, as well as metal 3D printing systems like One Click Metal.
Flexibility, quality and many years of experience in additive manufacturing were important to Tritone® when selecting a distribution partner. “With alphacam, we have a competent and strong partner at our side,” says Omer Sagi, VP Products and Business Development at Tritone.
“We were fascinated by the idea Tritone® innovated by using the well-known MIM powders in an industrial “powder-free” AM process. For our customers it will be a big advantage handling only a clean and safe metal paste to receive strong dense green parts”, says Michael Junghanss, Managing Partner at alphacam.
