Rapid.Tech 3D is one of these rare Additive Manufacturing events that survived the test of time. Between the fact that AM took some time to be a technology mature enough to create opportunities beyond AM companies and the pandemic that affected several businesses including the trade show industry, Rapid.Tech 3D | Additive Manufacturing Hub has succeeded in positioning itself as an industry event that shapes the way companies have grown their knowledge and use of AM technologies.
The 2024 edition which will be held from May 14th to 16th, in Erfurt (Germany), marks a milestone for the organizer Messe Erfurt as the show celebrates its 20th anniversary.
What’s new to the event?
In addition to the well-known format made up of conference, exhibition and networking programs, attendees could also explore opportunities for collaboration with the European AM platform and the AM community of India. As a reminder, last year, Messe Erfurt signed a multi-year cooperation with AMTech Expo, India’s largest business networking platform for AM.
Other partnerships involve the Additive Manufacturing Working Group run by the German mechanical and plant engineering association VDMA. This group, which includes around 200 companies from across the entire AM value chain, will provide professional consulting and support to Rapid.Tech 3D from 2024. For this anniversary event, the working group will be organizing the AM4industry forum. It will be held on the opening day of Rapid.Tech 3D (14 May 2024) and will focus on the key topics of Sustainability & Profitability, Repair, and Rethinking.
Furthermore, with the increasing adoption of AM in the chemical industry, Rapid.Tech 3D partners with DECHEMA to continue hosting the Chemistry & Process Engineering trade forum. The German chemical engineering and biotechnology network brings together the expertise of over 5,500 companies, research and educational institutions and other political and social partners.
“We are delighted to have new specialist partners to help us enhance the quality of Rapid.Tech 3D as a pioneering platform for industrial 3D printing and provide fresh impetus for AM. These partnerships and many other initiatives by the advisory board and the organizational team will enable us to offer an appealing anniversary event for all participants,” says Michael Kynast, CEO of Messe Erfurt GmbH.
In the upcoming days, we will provide further information about the program and key insights that you should not miss as part of the program. In the meantime, you can already register for the event here.
