French OEM Prodways has just launched the DENTAL PRO Series, a new series of 3D printers designed for the dental sector.
Designed to address the increasing pressure to produce high-quality, intricate dental models within shorter timeframes, the 3D printers of this series integrate the patented MOVINGLight® top-down DLP (Digital Light Processing) technology. This technology is at the heart of all Prodways 3D printers in digital dentistry and medical applications.
Key specifications of the DENTAL PRO 3D printer include a resolution of 600 DPI and 42 μm per pixel, allowing each layer to contain millions of pixels; a modular build platform, measuring around 300 x 445 mm and preprogrammed settings that allow for seamless transitions between different applications.
According to Prodways, the 3D printer can fabricate around 72 denture bases or 55 aligner models in a single print run. Furthermore, whether working on dentures or orthodontic models, users can easily switch from one task to another.
In this specific case, dental laboratories would benefit from faster print times, high resolution when handling the most complex tasks, and versatility across applications – from aligners and denture bases to crowns and custom dental trays.
Whether you’re producing orthodontic aligners, implantology models, or other intricate dental applications, this new series promises to enhance your lab’s output, Prodways promises.
