Noztek has rolled out an Infinity Print Bed Conveyor to enhance robotic 3D printing. The Infinity Print Bed Conveyor system would facilitate autonomous printing by producing numerous parts with minimal human intervention 24/7.

This Infinity Print Bed Conveyor system features a heated bed that can create parts in carbon fiber composites and several thermoplastic combinations. A potentiometer is installed to enable manual bed control via a touchscreen interface.

The roller conveyor has an aluminum sub-frame with a robust 5mm adjustable steel support bed and is precisely engineered. It has six 750w independently mounted pad heater panels providing consistent and optimal heating.

According to a press communication, the roller is powered by a high-torque 29.4 Nm stepper motor, connected to the company’s PCB and an Arduino Mega. The code facilitates seamless communication with the Kuka controller, which has been preprogrammed to synchronize the movement of the bed roller with the completion of each print run, ensuring precise and efficient operation.

Weighing 60 kg, this system is portable and adaptable to different manufacturing environments. A USB port is available to connect your robotic controller with an Arduino processor/EtherCAT.

Noztek explains that once the printing process is complete, the roller is programmed to spin half a revolution, expertly dislodging the printed parts and preparing the bed for the next print run. The robotic 3D printing arm can print at a 45-degree angle by allowing long parts to be created.
