Nano Dimension launches a 3D-printed electronics online service enabling designers and engineers to develop smart and electrified objects.
For Amit Dror, CEO of Nano Dimension, this additive manufacturing service positions them as “the first to offer professional-grade 3D-printed circuitry, encapsulated sensors and printed antennas to designers and engineers within days, compressing our customers’ time to market and delivering valuable services across their entire product life cycle.”
The online service
The need for functional electrified prototyping in several industries is addressed within the online service. Furthermore, the service delivers global access to Nano Dimension’s DragonFly 2020 Pro 3D Printers, materials and in-depth expertise.
Moreover, through the print service portal, companies can upload and optimize designs, receive quotes and order 3D-printed models, prototypes, printed circuit boards (PCBs) and other conductive and connected parts.
This printing service will definitely create a new revenue stream for Nano Dimension, while being cost effective for electronics developers.
The company increasingly implements new strategies to foster the adoption of 3D printed electronics. As part of it, one can mention the recently launched SOLIDWORKS add-In, which enables electronics developers to design a 3D model in SOLIDWORKS and easily print it using the DragonFly 2020 Pro 3D Printer or its integration into Techniplas Open Innovation Program.
