On the heels of its acquisition by Quantum, OEM 3D printer manufacturer BCN3D unveils the Omega I60 G2 3D printer. Following a tumultuous 2025, this launch was the signal that the company aims to remain on top of its game.

For the record, the Spanish machine manufacturer is one of the few companies that specializes in IDEX technology. Its flagship products — the Omega I60 and Epsilon Series — are trusted by professionals across industries, from automotive, engineering and product design to advanced manufacturing.
If the acquisition by Quantum was meant to give these technologies—and their roadmap—a future-ready framework, the launch of the Omega I60 G2 3D printer naturally prompts the question of whether this new system truly reflects that ambition.
Ultimately, announcements from industrial players investing in the new 3D printer will be the real proof of the effectiveness of this strategic direction.
