On the heels of its acquisition by Quantum, OEM 3D printer manufacturer BCN3D unveils the Omega I60 G2 3D printer. Following a tumultuous 2025, this launch was the signal that the company aims to remain on top of its game.
For the record, the Spanish machine manufacturer is one of the few companies that specializes in IDEX technology. Its flagship products — the Omega I60 and Epsilon Series — are trusted by professionals across industries, from automotive, engineering and product design to advanced manufacturing.
If the acquisition by Quantum was meant to give these technologies—and their roadmap—a future-ready framework, the Omega I60 G2 3D printer launch raises a question. Does this new system truly reflect that ambition?

This new 3D printer blends powerful AI-driven XYZ calibration, cybersecurity, and real-time monitoring into one seamless solution.
Other key features of the 3D printer include an intelligent spool control system for seamless material management. There is also a next-generation cloud platform and slicing software. An integrated camera within the heated chamber enables real-time monitoring, while unified electronics enhance performance and durability. A redesigned build plate ensures optimal adhesion and easy part removal. Finally, an upgraded feeder system has three integrated sensors to ensure accurate material flow.
Preorders opened on November 24th, 2025, and run until February 28th, 2026.
