To fill the gap between digital artists and IP owners, MyMiniFactory and Knight Models launched officially licensed 3D printable files from the DC Universe. These files include beloved characters such as Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, and the Joker.

This launch portrays a shift in 3D printing adoption for games and how it increases the value of licensed merchandise distribution globally. As a reminder, 3D printing in gaming offers added dimension for collectors & fans to engage with their iconic characters.

MyMiniFactory stands out as a unique, creator-first marketplace that gives artists 90% of sales the highest cut possible compared with the rest of the platforms, where creators get but a fraction of that.

Fueled by the values of fairness and sustainability, it is a community-driven platform that empowers independent creators to collaborate with major IP holders such as DC. By directly connecting small-scale artists to big brands, MyMiniFactory is changing the configuration of creative vision and licensed content.

This set of high-quality DC models, with 125 3D-printing-ready models, will be able to be downloaded and printed at home through MyMiniFactory’s FronTiers platform by October 2024. That is only the start because several major IP owners will soon partner with MyMiniFactory.

It empowers digital artists by offering a new business model that challenges the traditional licensing structure. MyMiniFactory is forging stronger connections between the brand and artistic community by bringing 3D printing into major IPs and creating new channels for discovering and distributing licensed merchandise.
