Material producer Equispheres is showcasing at Formnext a portfolio of oxygen-free copper powders designed for additive manufacturing.

By optimizing powder characteristics, the company’s technology can ensure production of high-quality copper powders for the aerospace, automotive, and semiconductor industries.  The company confirms this technology can control copper particles during formation. High sphericity, ultra-thin oxide layer, and controlled particle size ensure consistent spread density and energy absorption in the L-PBF process.

Validation testing of Equispheres Cu-OF (C10200) powder demonstrates high sphericity, high flowability, and excellent processability, with published data available on the AconityX high-performance system.
