Dassault Systèmes launches 3DEXPERIENCE.WORKS on the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform to meet the needs of SME

During SOLIDWORKS WORLD 2019, its annual conference dedicated the 3D design and engineering community, Dassault Systèmes has unveiled 3DEXPERIENCE.WORKS.

Launched on the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform, this new feature will bring a new range of business solutions to customers and SME that already use SOLIDWORKS. The recent acquisition of IQMS enables Dassault Systèmes to extend the 3DEXPERIENCE platform to business operations for SMEs. That’s exactly what the software company does thanks to IQMS’ ERP portfolio of software applications that has now been rebranded DELMIAWORKS

Technically speaking, instead of moving from one application and interface to another, companies will benefit from single use of all application in 3DEXPERIENCE.WORKS. The portal brings digital transformation to another level by gathering data and streamlines processes from concept to delivery by providing dashboard templates, managed services, access to industry-focused communities and user groups, and applications specific to a variety of job roles.

The new application would therefore ease the work of customers and SMEs at several levels: communication between people who work on the same project, manufacturing and even business agility.

Dassault Systèmes SOLIDWORKS is already acknowledged as one of the best software solutions on the market. It makes no doubt that the launch of this new application will provide a great number of advantages to SME. The only thing to know is if this solution will be sufficiently affordable to SMEs that often have to deal with tight budgets.
