Certor Sports, an expert in athletic safety and performance, will license the technology of XO Armor Technologies, a provider of custom-fit, 3D printed protective gear. With XO Armor’s solution, Certor aims to produce personalized, wearable guards for athletes.
Over multiple sectors, Additive Manufacturing has made firms offer customer-centric products at an affordable price range. This partnership between XO Armor and Certor Sports highlights the use of XO Armor’s 3D scanning solution and advanced manufacturing technology for bolstering athletes’ performance.
As a parent firm to VICIS, Schutt, and TUCCI, Certor strives for athlete protection. Earlier, Certor’s VICIS brand incorporated XO Armor’s technology to build custom-fit rib guards for quarterbacks who will use them along with the QB specific ZERO2 helmets. After successfully launching rib guards, Certor aims to extend its product series to add extra protective gear for football and baseball players via VICIS and TUCCI brands – hence the partnership with XO Armor.
XO Armor’s custom-fit guards are technically famous for their low-weight design features, durability and strength. The 3D printing technology used, enables high precision, ensuring that every guard suits the body of athletic players seamlessly. It shows us improved mobility and extreme comfort, which is vital for optimal performance, and supports post-injury healing.
XO Armor Technologies CEO, Joe Bingold “Our partnership with Certor Sports aligns perfectly with our mission to provide athletes with the best possible protection without compromising performance. By combining our technology with Certor’s expertise in athletic gear, we are setting a new benchmark for what athletes can expect from their protective equipment.”
Certor Sports strives to develop products that protect and motivate athletes. By focusing on the latest innovations, Certor has created a reputation for deploying trustable equipment for athletes.
“Partnering with XO Armor Technologies allows us to take another significant step forward in our mission to safeguard and empower athletes everywhere. As leading innovators of protective sporting goods equipment, including the first company to develop position-specific football helmets, we are excited to bring protective technology via this great partnership,” explains Jeremy Erspamer, Certor Sports CEO.
