Runners, triathletes, CrossFit devotees or competitive footballers, athletes, all those people who are passionate about sport sometimes face problems when it comes to start over their exercise after an injury. Össur has made it easy for them by launching its Formfit® Pro line of 3D compressive knit solutions which will relieve people who suffer from different musculoskeletal conditions.

Össur is acknowledged for its solutions to improve people’s mobility. The company provides solutions in the fields of Prosthetic, Osteoarthritis and Injury using new technologies. Its range of products include “Formfit Pro Knee for compression and patella support; Formfit Pro Knee OA, providing pain relief support for early-stage osteoarthritis; Formfit Pro Wrist and Formfit Pro Ankle, which provide compression support to their respective joints; Formfit Pro Elbow, which provides pain relief support for tennis elbow; and Formfit Pro Back, which provides important motion restriction support.”

Further information has not yet been given about the type of 3D technology used. However, according to the company, the 3D knit integrates a technology that is also featured in state-of-the-art sportswear and footwear, and that helps to create supports that are comfortable, lightweight and formfitting. You might probably recall here the FitStation platform powered by HP or the QUANT-U Project.
