What we learned from the Additive Talks (Part 3)

Investing in an AM technology is the first step in a journey towards a true understanding of how technology can transform a business. To achieve such an investment, especially in the current economical context, several considerations should be taken into account.

These considerations constitute the topic of the panel “Costs & Considerations For Investing Into An AM System”. An awesome line-up of leaders in 3D printing discuss their thoughts on this important topic : Olivier Rigo from Sirris, Simon Merkt-Schippers from SLM Solutions as well as Michael Sattler from Solukon.  We discussed this topic with three objectives in mind:

  • Discuss the various paths a qualified prospect take before purchasing a metal AM system
  • Identify the various considerations that should be taken into account before investing into a metal AM system 
  • Anticipate and address the growing needs of customers in light of the current socio-economic environment
