SWISSto12, acknowledged for the development of SatCom solutions and RF (radio frequency) equipment, has secured a $10 million contract to provide RF and satellite products to a European aeronautical OEM.

With the goal of enhancing safety at sea with its RF and satellite products, it should be noted that these RF products are compact, lightweight, and robust. Other items in its portfolio include antenna systems that can be deployed for ground, airborne, and maritime applications.

Patented 3D printing technology by SWISSto12

SWISSto12 is said to have the world’s largest IP portfolio in the use of 3D printing for RF product applications. SWISSto12 uses proprietary 3D printing technology to manufacture lightweight and complex antenna designs. This RFAM (Radio Frequency Additive Manufacturing) process facilitates design optimization & adherence to stringent RF qualification and performance requirements set by the GEOStar-3 program.

These antennas offer higher and more flexible coverage and optimized throughput.  The equipment will enhance safety at sea. The HummingSat is one of the company’s compact and powerful geostationary telecommunications satellites.

It is quick and economical to deploy and can facilitate high-speed connectivity in a scalable manner. The advanced Additive Manufacturing technology has broken the manufacturing limitations and enabled the production of non-conventional and highly complex product designs.

In addition to the space industry, SWISSto12 products are deployed in aeronautical and telecommunications applications. The Company has been recognized as among the ‘2024 Hottest Companies in Satellite’. It was also nominated for ‘2024 Technology Pioneer’ by the World Economic Forum.
