Rebound PEBA Air is the next-generation flexible 3D printing filament Siraya Tech developed for advanced performance applications.

Built upon the foundation of Rebound PEBA 95A, this new material introduces dynamic active foaming capability, allowing users to fine-tune hardness, softness, and part weight by simply adjusting the print temperature — all while retaining the industrial-grade durability and energy rebound that PEBA is known for.

The strength of this development relies on the combination of Nylon (PA) with soft TPE blocks and proprietary active foaming technology.

Siraya Tech’s prior release of TPU Air laid the groundwork for lightweight foaming flexibility. With Rebound PEBA Air, engineers can achieve improved rebound, and enhanced structural integrity.

Key features

  • Dynamic hardness & rebound control (70A–95A): Adjust print temperature (235–270°C) to dial in desired softness or firmness.
  • Extreme lightweighting with active foaming: Reduce part weight by up to 50% while maintaining high strength.
  • Industrial-grade durability & chemical resistance: Handles fatigue, impact, and exposure to oils or solvents with confidence.
  • Matte finish & smooth, jam-free printing: PEBA base enhances extrusion flow; foaming yields soft-touch matte finish.
  • High-speed compatible: Performs reliably on most FDM 3D printers.

The material is ideal for parts that are both soft and strong, requiring rebound, resilience, and low weight. They include, for instance, performance sports gear such as middsoles, custom orthotics, and protective padding, robotics and drones – particularly lightweight bumpers, landing gear, and grippers, wearables & ergonomics or even automotive parts.
