Reallusion’s solution to build, morph, animate and gamify 3D characters
3D characters increasingly become a game changer in gamification strategies as well as in AR, VR and mobile applications. They can bring concrete added value in real-time cinematic animation, virtual production, and motion capture tools. In order to bring a complete solution in the use and development of 3D characters, Reallusion, a 2D and 3D animation software and content developer, proposes three different tools: Character Creator 3, Motion LIVE and iPhone X facial mocap.
Character Creator 3- Characters for Game, AR, VR, Mobile
Character Creator 3 (CC3), is an iClone Character Creator that is completely different from iClone. The professional standalone tool is a solution for generating optimized 3D characters ready for game or intensive artistic design with a new quad base, round-trip editing with ZBrush and photo-realistic rendering using Iray.
CC 3’ s new game character is convenient for mobile, game, AR/VR developers. The tool stands out from the crowd with the integration of “InstaLOD’s model and material optimization technologies to generate game-ready characters that [fulfil] the complete character pipeline on polygon reduction, material merge, texture baking, remeshing and LOD generation.”
Motion LIVE and iPhone X facial mocap.
iClone Motion LIVE is a multi-device motion capture system that connects industry standard Motion Gear into on solution, include Rokoko, Leap Motion, Xsens, Faceware, OptiTrack, Noitom and iPhone X.
“Motion LIVE’s intuitive plug-and-play design makes connecting complicated mocap devices a simple selection by animating custom imported characters or fully-rigged 3D characters generated by Character Creator, Daz Studio, or from other industry standard sources.
Lastly, Reallusion launched 3D Face Motion Capture with iPhone X with LIVE FACE app for iClone. Users can record instant facial motion capture on any 3D character with an iPhone X.”
