AMUG is a non-profit organization that brings together professionals in the Additive Manufacturing sector. The annual gatherings offer community members workshops, hands-on experiences, and technical presentations for over 3 decades.
AMUG (Additive Manufacturing Users Group) will hold its annual Education and Training Conference from March 30th to April 3rd, 2025 in Chicago, Illinois. Registrations for this conference can be done online from September 3rd, 2024.
The AMUG Conference is an annual event that encompasses all users of Additive Manufacturing. The gathering includes professionals across various industries and sectors and is an important stage for sharing application developments, best practices, and expertise. Real-world challenges in Additive Manufacturing are discussed and deliberated.

AMUG Conference 2025
Next year, AMUG derby competitions will be prominently featured in the conference. The AMUG derby was introduced during this 2024 edition and featured gravity-powered 3D-printed cars in the race.
Other key highlights that one may expect include:
- The participation of over 140 exhibiting companies The AMUG Conference always kickstarts its event with the New Member Welcome. This allows new attendees to connect with industry AMUG veterans. It attracts new participants via inspiring discussions, educative sessions, and panel discussions on Additive Manufacturing.
- The tenth annual Innovators Showcase tends to discover innovations and the associated experiences. Details of the Innovators Award recipient will be announced in September 2024.
- Comprehensive workshops on Additive Manufacturing technologies will be held.
- The last-day drop-in workshop series will be held to facilitate rotation through hands-on experiences for members. A dedicated track for additional workshops will also be added.
