Airborne pollutants are a significant health risk, especially at manufacturing facilities. Hazardous pollutants like combustible dust can also result in poorer product quality and equipment malfunction. Established in 1994, ULT AG, headquartered in Löbau, Germany, focuses on extraction and filtration technology for air pollutants.

The company’s solutions are deployed in various industries, from plastics and electronics to pharmaceutical and chemical. ULT introduces the LAS 260 H/Ex – an ATEX-compliant solution that extracts and filters dry, combustible & dangerous fumes and dust during laser processing of plastics and metals.

The LAS 260 H/Ex safely separates combustible dust within zone 22 and this separation of combustible dust happens in the HEPA H-14 and safety filter stages. Activated carbon is incorporated into the safety filter to ensure removing unpleasant odors and hazardous gases.

Features of the LAS 260 H/Ex

  • Finest particles up to 99.995% are separated in a 2-stage filter
  • Toxic dust and carcinogenic dust is filtered
  • The filtered clean gas is recirculated
  • Quiet operation
  • Low energy consumption
  • Works with a voltage range of 110-240 V
  • Automated operation and system integration is possible with an M12 interface
  • Verified by ILK Dresden

ULT’s extraction solution for combustible and carcinogenic laser dust can help manufacturing units adhere to the stringent EC directives regarding fine dust pollution.
