The new ZYYX pro is a Swedish industrial grade 3D printer created to enable professionals to rapidly produce personalized, high-strength parts on their desks.
Just like the ZYYX pro, the ZYYX line of proFilaments has three more materials: ZYYX proNylon, ZYYX proCarbon and ZYYX proKev.
According to Magicfirm Europe’s CEO, Mats Mossberg, “Many of [their] customers have expressed a need for high-strength parts. The ZYYX pro and [their] new pro filaments will meet [the customers’] requirements for functional prototypes and end-use parts such as tools, jigs and fixtures.”
As for Anders Johansson, CMO of Magicfirm Europe, he strongly states that “the ZYYX pro fits very nicely in [their] product portfolio and fills a clear gap in the market: the need to print with engineering materials.”
If the ZYYX pro user wants to print with materials such as proPLA or proABS, a multi-material extension kit is available.

However, the ZYYX is built upon ZYYX’s proven platform. The main features are Automatic Leveling, Material Monitoring and a Heated Chamber.
Furthermore, notice is to be made that a new feature of the ZYYX pro is the SwiftTool™. Thanks to this peculiarity, users are allowed to replace the tool head in under a minute, thus further improving uptime.
Every unit of ZYYX proCarbon is then delivered with a hard-coated SwiftTool™ so that abrasive materials do not decelerate the printing process.
Last but not least, attention is also to be paid to the printing process. The ZYYX pro comes indeed with the proTect™ material system that maximizes both the quality and durability of the material during use and storage. Users can finally safely print with any material through an innovative filtering system (HEPA and active carbon) that removes ultrafine particles and odors.
