Construction 3D printing company ICON has deployed robotic 3D printers to build multi-story infrastructures across the USA and Mexico. The company recently announced a digital catalog highlighting its new homes in Wimberley Springs, south of Austin Texas.

ICON’s home offering at Wimberley Springs, TX

Homebuyers can avail of AlphaBeta and TexNext collections of houses that boast fine architecture and comfort. The AlphaBeta and TexNext homes are seamlessly integrated with the natural beauty of Wimberley and the pecan trees of Cypress Creek to get nestled away from the constant hustle & bustle.

The homes boast sunlit rooms that open out into the outdoors. The luxury homes will carry induction cooktops, quartz countertops, standing seam metal roofs, and freestanding soaking tubs.

The homes from ICON are highly energy efficient. They will carry EnergyStar home standard certification developed by the US EPA (Environmental Protection Agency). The homes will be nearly 45 to 60% more energy efficient.  Due to its concrete structure, ICON homes are highly thermal efficient.

The need for increased heating or air conditioning is comparatively less during the slow heat transfer in and out of the house. The smart homes will have smart video doorbells and smart thermostats installed. ICON uses proprietary CarbonX, a low-carbon material. Strength, durability, and sustainability are paired with pleasing aesthetics.
