Formnext 2023: new features for AM industry service providers and startups, enhanced digital offering

Formnext 2023 is welcoming AM companies and enthusiasts from November 7 to November 10 at Frankfurt with new features like Service Provider Market Place, Pitchnext and Digital streaming

One of the most exciting events in the Additive Manufacturing industry, Formnext is ready to welcome  AM companies and enthusiasts from November 7 to November 10 in Frankfurt.

Key highlights of the program

Formnext 2023 organized by Mesago Messe Frankfurt GmbH will start this year’s expo with new features and elements including a Service Provider Market Place at Hall 12.1-B101 where AM companies will demonstrate the applications of additive manufacturing. 

Built in association with Daimler Truck & Buses, the Service Provider Market Place will make its Formnext debut this year by highlighting the role of AM service providers in the 3D printing process, specially those working in the automotive sector. 

Several automotive companies like Brose and Daimler Truck & Buses will explain how additive manufacturing enhanced their production. 

The 9th edition Formnext Start-up Challenge has new elements like Pitchnext event, Youth Innovators booth added to the supporting program of Formnext 2023. On November 7, Additive Manufacturing (AM) companies and startups can pitch their ideas at the Pitchnext event while innovative AM startups can present themselves at the Youth Innovators booth of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK).

The focus point of Formnext 2023 is “sustainability” and for this, the event planners have chosen to focus on the Nordic region where the economic potential of the AM industry in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Finland will be highlighted. 24 Nordic companies will present their AM-based solutions at the Nordic Pavilion in Hall 11.0-D68 as part of the sustainability focus.

The Discover 3D Printing seminars will help companies looking to break into the AM industry with insights like it does every year. 

Additive Manufacturing companies like BE-AM will showcase the applications of 3D printing in the construction industry on November 8 at the BE-AM Symposium Hall 11.0-F49 while the ASTM Standards Forum organized in association with USCS, ASTM, ISO, and America Makes will discuss standards in the AM industry on November 6 in Hall 4, room Europa. 

Career prospects in the Additive Manufacturing Industry will be showcased at the Career Day on November 9 where job seekers can get career advice from experts, interact with employers and apply for current vacancies advertised on the Formnext Job Wall in the Career Area. 

Digital offering

From 16 October, interested parties will be able to view exhibitor products, connect with companies, and arrange meetings (in person or online) at Formnext streAM.
