This year at Formnext 2024, OEM Farsoon demonstrated it can go even bigger when it comes to part production. The 3D printer manufacturer unveiled the Flight® HT601P-4, a large-format polymer PBF system featuring quad 300-watt fiber lasers.
With a build volume of 600 × 600 × 600 mm (216 liters), the Flight® HT601P-4’s fiber lasers can deliver scanning speeds of up to 20 m/s (66 ft/s). It enables interchangeable build cartridge supports continuous production workflows, minimizing downtime and increasing manufacturing throughput.
The Flight® HT601P-4 can handle chamber temperatures up to 220°C, making it ideal for processing high-performance materials such as PA6, PBT, PA11, PA12, and TPU. Its patented multi-zone temperature control system and infrared thermal monitoring ensure uniform heat distribution and real-time thermal stability adjustments, enabling consistent results across the entire build surface.
In addition to its open-parameter option, the 3D printer features a power supply method, an advanced control card, as well as an optical cooling system.
Ideal for the production of large parts, the 3D printer can meet the production needs of a variety of industries.
This launch occurs when Farsoon celebrates its ten-year journey in providing AM solutions to European customers. It precedes the celebration of the company’s new AM campus in the Yuelu District, Changsha.
The new campus spans a total area of 82,000 square meters with a Gross Floor area of 140,000 square meters.
Since its humble beginnings in a 16-square-meter garage, Farsoon has grown into a leading enterprise in the global 3D printing industry. Over 15 years, it has expanded to a comprehensive portfolio of innovative solutions, driven by a world-class, multidisciplinary R&D team specializing in optics, electronics, mechanics, software, and materials.
Farsoon’s 15-year milestone and new campus are a testament that the company’s expertise and technology capabilities are recognized in the market and that we may expect more solutions designed for the AM industry.
