EOS is extending its activities in Germany. Following the opening of its new plant in Maisach (West of Munich), the supplier of industrial 3D printing of metals officially dumps its suitcases in Düsseldorf on March 13th.
Its innovation will address the needs of regional companies regarding their 3D printing projects. EOS’s range of consulting and training services will address key aspects along the entire process chain.
The Innovation Centre
With 1,000 m² of floor space, companies benefit from individualized consultation. They can also rent machinery space as well as project rooms.
Consultation and training courses that include advice on designing and optimizing the parts to be manufactured, the AM process as well as production’s planning are part of the centre’s offering.
Furthermore, via this center, EOS will certainly collaborate with universities of applied sciences in the region with the aim of increasing the AM skills of students.
Dr. Bernd Reinarz, Team Manager EOS Innovation Center Düsseldorf, says: “It can be a complex process to design new components for Additive Manufacturing and subsequently plan and optimize the production processes. The objective is clear, but companies still frequently lack the needed experience. The EOS team in Düsseldorf comprises experienced engineers and consultants that can help companies rapidly achieve excellent results with industrial 3D printing – locally, personally, and individually.”
The EOS Innovation Center is located in SEGRO Park Düsseldorf City, Germany.
