Since it has unveiled its 4D_Additive software, CoreTechnologie has often worked with other software solutions’ providers as technology partners to enhance the utilization of its tool. Since the release of the latest version of this 3D printing software, the software provider is partnering with 3D printer manufacturers to improve the user experience.

For instance, the latest version (1.3) of CoreTechnologie’s 4D_Additive includes the HP Direct Connector (HP certified). The latter is a control console that helps to manage the entire printing process. In this specific case, the HP Direct Connector has been developed by CoreTechnologie and certified by HP. It is integrated in 4D_Additive and bypasses the HP Build Manager and sends the slicing data of the models directly to the HP printers. The Printer panel provides information on the status of the current job and the level of consumables. The connection to multiple servers allows remote printing.

Today, the German-French software company announces a new collaboration with Photocentric, 3D printer manufacturer, headquartered in the UK.

As part of this partnership, the CoreTechnologie 3D printing software is directly connected to the Photocentric printers via an API interface, so that all common CAD formats as well as STL models are seamlessly sent from the 3D software to the Photocentric printers.

Just as it did for HP 3D printer, CoreTechnologie has developed a unique module to create support structures for the Photocentric SLA 3D printers. Not only does it enable automation of the printing process, but it is also possible to modify the support structures and quickly adapt them to desired requirements.

Furthermore, using the texture module of the CoreTechnologie software, engineers can choose from 5,000 predefined textures or apply their own patterns to 3D models to create better component designs.

As a reminder, due to its comprehensive range of functions for analysis and data preparation as well as fast multiprocessing, CoreTechnologie’s software solution enables the application of logos, textures and customized surfaces.

However, from a business perspective, such partnership with 3D printer manufacturers does not only contribute to improve production methods, it also enlarges the broad customer base of CoreTechnologie and its partners.
