Launched last year and scheduled to be held on October 19 and 20 in a hybrid form at Berlin, Estrel Hotel, AM Medical Days is a two-day event that aims to enable professionals of the healthcare and medical industries to leverage the potential of additive manufacturing.
The event is organized by IPM AG – organizer of C-level and B2B conferences. For this group of experts in the trade fair industry, it’s the second event they organize within the AM industry – the first one being AM Forum held once per year in Berlin. With the vision of bringing together the right people around a key topic, AM Medical Days 2022 is supported by four founding partners who share together the same vision for pushing the medical technology industry forward. There are: Ottobock, Kumovis, Mobility goes Additive e.V., Universitätsspital Basel and Berlin Partner.
If you are new in the medical technology industry, please note that AM offers the possibility of producing patient-specific solutions, such as prostheses, without making them too expensive. Applications of 3D printing outside of traditional manufacturing include the ability to 3D print organs and bio-printing. Used correctly, additive manufacturing can significantly reduce material waste, diminish the number of production steps and inventory, and cut the number of individual parts needed for an assembly.
AM Medical Days 2022 (19-20 October 2022, Berlin, Estrel Hotel and virtual) will address topics related to additive manufacturing and experimental solutions in medicine.
