As part of Formnext 2017, a leading event in additive manufacturing, SLM Solutions will unveil a number of new solutions such as the new SLM 800.
In a new booth concept, the German metal additive manufacturing company will showcase improvements to its roster of selective laser melting systems whose teaser was launched last year.
During a live demonstration, visitors will discover how the machine allows integration into fully automated production processes.
Other improvements by SLM Solutions
Other improvements that will be showcased concern the famous SLM 125 and SLM 280 machines. As far as the SLM 280.0 is concerned, a new and permanent filter technology, melt pool monitoring (MPM) and laser power monitoring (LPM) are part of the updates that have been carried out.
Furthermore, SLM Solutions’ Additive Designer, the company’s own data processing software, which would further enhance the performance scope for metal-based additive manufacturing will also be featured during the event.

Visitors will find SLM Solutions on booth E70 in Messe Frankfurt Hall 3.0 on 14-17th November.
