Following the success of last year’s event with 850 participants, the cross-industry program of the 4th ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING FORUM includes a mix of experts with topical debates from a user-oriented look at how the technology plays out its potentials in various industries. The conference is supported by the foundation partners Airbus, BASF, Deutsche Bahn, Stratasys, 3yourmind, Mobility goes Additive and promoted by Berlin Partner für Wirtschaft und Technologie.
The conference will kick-off with a joint lecture by representatives of ESA, OHB‑Systems & Altair taking a look at AM space. Further highlights are, for example, user reports of Fritz in Eckert, Head of FabLab, CLAAS KGaA, Marie Langer, CEO, EOS GmbH, Dr. Klaus Liedgens, Head of Vehicle Technology, Hamburger Hochbahn AG, Ronen Hadar, Director Additive Design & Manufacturing, The LEGO Group, Felix Hammerschmidt, Head of Additive Manufacturing Solutions, Satair A/S, Torsten Meier, Vice President R&D, Grohe AG, Dr. Maximilian Meixlsperger, Head of Additive Manufacturing Metal, BMW Group, Christoph Wangenheim, Head of Additive Manufacturing, Baker Hughes.
Three months to go and the exhibition is almost fully booked. More than 120 leading AM software, materials, technology and service providers will present their solutions and strategies for the successful application of additive technologies. Participants are invited to prepare their questions. The conference is dedicated to address first time and advanced users as well as experts from the industries aviation, automotive, railway, mechanical engineering, construction, agriculture, medical technology and academia.
The goal of all stakeholders is to learn from one another how to use the technology, to inspire each other, and to promote series application. On two days, the event offers abundant opportunities to connect with the experts at eye level
The first occasion for networking in a relaxed atmosphere is the evening event, the day before the conference starts. During the AM Vernissage and a tour through the Siemens Design Lab at A32 Entrepreneurs Forum in Siemensstadt Berlin, the participants can start connecting. Furthermore, the association Mobility goes Additive e.V. in cooperation with the IPM AG invites women in AM specialist and management positions to the 3rd European Summit for Women in AM, on March 10, 2020. The event is dedicated to give women the chance to connect and widen their networks to support next generation applications.
