The FabPro™ 1000 is an industrial 3D printer for beginners in the field. It integrates both smooth surface quality, accelerated throughput and a straightforward user interface.
Its additive manufacturing system allows the production of plastic part prototypes and casting patterns for jewelry. The 3D printer integrates the 3D Sprint™ software to facilitate part preparation and print monitoring. Furthermore, users have the choice among three types of materials: FabPro Tough BLK for functional prototyping and production parts, FabPro Proto GRY for fine featured prototypes and models, and FabPro JewelCast GRN for jewelry master patterns used for gypsum investment casting applications.
No particular reasons were given by the manufacturer on the launch of this e-commerce shop dedicated to the sales of this 3D printer. However, the company affirmed its aim was to make the advantages of the 3D printer even more accessible.
One thing is certain, the printer already receives a positive feedback from Simon Walker, the owner of Artforge which designs and manufactures highly accurate collectible miniatures and unique jewelry.
“All in all, you get a lot more for your money with the FabPro 1000 than other entry-level 3D printing solutions,“ Walker said.
