1000 Kelvin, the startup that develops AMAIZE, is collaborating with OEM EOS to enhance the production workflows of Additive Manufacturing users across a wide range of vertical industries. This announcement follows another interesting partnership 1000 Kelvin recently made for the military industry.

As a reminder, AMAIZE can generate optimal print recipes which create near-perfect 3D-printed metal parts in the first time instance, thus reducing waste and eliminating unnecessary costs. The AMAIZE cloud analyzes and automatically corrects any thermo-mechanical issues in the uploaded print file by optimizing the scan strategy and the 3D printing process parameters.

As part of this collaboration, this AI-driven software will be integrated into the EOS software suite enabling users to streamline their design processes, reducing up to 80% of engineering costs and accelerating the fabrication of new 3D printed products.

Martin Steuer, EOS’s SVP Software Division, comments, “AMAIZE’s AI predictive capabilities enable a paradigm shift from physical to digital iteration. This is an important step forward to the industrialization of additive manufacturing. Coupled with its robust cybersecurity, AMAIZE represents a significant advancement in cloud-based solutions for the industry. We’re pleased that EOS customers have now access to this value-added service within our open ecosystem platform and our EOS Developer Network Partner 1000 Kelvin.”

Omar Fergani, CEO of 1000 Kelvin, explains, “The integration with EOS software is a testament to the open architecture of EOS products and the extensive resources of the EOS Developer Network (EDN). These factors have allowed us to seamlessly incorporate the EOSPRINT APIs into our platform, ensuring that our customers can effortlessly benefit from the combined strengths of our technologies.”

EOS users will be able to access AMAIZE directly by contacting 1000 Kelvin.
