Ultimaker’s new strategy is based on two software, Ultimaker Cura and Cura Connect, that will position the manufacturer of 3D printers as a solution to deliver better results for both users and businesses.

Ultimaker Cura

This software will be unveiled on October 17th. It offers a powerful and easy-to-use solution to prepare files for digital manufacturing.

Its key advantages include developing the Ultimaker ecosystem by implementing software upgrades that improve the possibilities of the hardware.

Furthermore, by using this software, businesses could create new workflows that best meet their needs.

Last, Ultimaker Cura can provide seamless workflow integration between industry-standard CAD applications such as SolidWorks and Siemens NX.

 

Cura Connect

November 7th, 2017 is the expected date of release of this software.

Cura Connect allows users to manage a set of Ultimaker 3D printers, creating an accessible solution for prototyping, tooling and small-scale production.

It is one of the pioneering industry solutions which will enable users to schedule, queue and monitor print jobs for maximize the efficiency of Ultimaker 3D printers.
