Turkish government supports technology initiatives in line with the target of turning Turkey’s economy into an economy with high added-value. In this vein, the country increasingly raises the interest of technology companies.

Additive manufacturing companies like BCN3D & Farsoon have recently signed new partnerships to accelerate the expansion of their 3D Printing technology in the region.

BCN3D will rely on 3Dörtgen

Known for its ability to develop FDM 3D Printers, BCN3D is a Spanish manufacturer that has become a standalone company last year.

3Dörtgen will distribute BCN3D printers Sigma and Sigmax, as well as the full range of filaments, accessories and spare parts from the Barcelona-based 3D printing company across the Turkish market.

3Dörtgen is said to be one of the fastest-growing distributors on the Turkish desktop 3D Printing landscape.

3Dörtgen started to operate in the 3D printing industry in 2013 in Istanbul, as one of the first 3D shops in the region. Six years ago, they started in a small office. Today, they have built up a successful company counting on a marketing team, a technical service department, and a warehouse, amongst others. Their 3D Printing Cafe was the first one in the whole of Turkey, a very special location where 3D printers are free to use, so people can just print their own projects.

We are pleased to cooperate with 3Dörtgen, an alliance which will support us to increase the sales in the Turkish market, where there is a high potential for the IDEX system and the distinctive duplication, mirror and multimaterial printing modes. Their considerable experience in additive manufacturing, combined with a top-quality technical know-how makes 3Dörtgen the right fit to help us grow and serve Turkish customers in the best possible way, stated Xavier Martínez Faneca, CEO of BCN3D.
